Kaziranga, 22 October, 2014: Sunday night saw yet another arrival of a female elephant calf at the IFAW- WTI run CWRC. The calf was rescued by the Assam FD from villagers who had kept the calf in their custody and were worshipping it as a God.

2.5 kg Asian elephant ivory and 50 kg antlers/horns seized in; six arrested
Bandipur, Sept 19 2014: The Karnataka State Forest Department along with the Karnataka Police Department, with assistance from WTI and Voice for Wildlife, seized 2.5 kg of Asian elephant ivory and 50 kg of antlers and horns, last week.
