Wildlife Trust of India (WTI) invites applications from postgraduate degree holders in the MA Sociology/Environmental Science/ MSW, with 8+ years of experience.

Excellent communication skills in English, both written and spoken
Proven proficiency to ensure quality and accuracy of written communications
Inclination towards Wildlife conservation
Postgraduate degree in MA Sociology/Environmental Science/ MSW
Work Experience of 8 years, preferably working for an NGO
Broad responsibilities include
Coordinate and monitor all the community components of various projects of WTI.
Edit and refine reports.
Provide content for website and participate in dissemination and outreach.
Develop projects for community intervention in consultation with Heads/ PI
Participate in strategic planning of the project and division in consultation with the Head/PI for respective projects and following the current paradigm and principles of social science and wildlife conservation
Offer leadership to the team of sociologist in WTI.
Interact and network with relevant government departments, donors/potential donors and other agencies as required.
Take a technical lead in Green Livelihoods Projects/components.
Ensure that activities are implemented in the field by the team in time and as planned, in consultation with the Principal Investigator of the project and take responsibility for the delivery of the outcomes of the project.
Monitor and evaluate projects
Liaise with funding organizations and relevant Government Departments
Develop new projects and project teams
Prepare project implementation plans and work plans.
Provide content for website and participate in dissemination and outreach in conjunction with the Communities for Conservation team.
