Project Info
Project Description
Combating forest and wildlife crime is one of the major tasks the state forest departments undertake as part of their conservation efforts. Across the states, thousands of incidents of crimes, information related to suspects, and court procedure details are stored in paper-based files. Such information is highly valuable for developing preventive strategies, gathering intelligence, and ensuring that justice is rightly delivered.
The HAWK system is a large ERP model cloud-based system which uses mobile and desktop interfaces to manage data. The entire system is divided into various modules, which are interconnected with individual stand-alone functions. This enables the system to be scaled up or down as per the needs of the state forest department and ensures customisation opportunities for each state to accommodate the changes in procedures, and also to accommodate the interface in the regional language. All the data managed by the HAWK system is secured with government and industry-standard security measures are applied to ensure data security.
A dedicated development and training team at WTI manages the system’s development and provides staff training across the target state to support the smooth implementation of the system.
