Injured Adult Male Leopard Brought to CWRC for Treatment
On the night of May 9, officials of the Bokial Forest Beat, Golaghat Forest Division trapped an adult male leopard that sustained several injuries in its efforts to escape the trap cage. The leopard was brought to CWRC for treatment on May 10.

Tinsukia, Assam, April 30, 2017: A Mobile Veterinary Service (MVS) unit of CWRC rescued a female leopard that had strayed into a house in Chabua village in the Tinsukia district of Assam on Friday, April 28. The leopard was transported to a location deep within the Joypur Reserve Forest and released back to the wild yesterday.
