Gaj Yatra Rolls Out in Meghalaya

This project seeks to conserve the wildlife and habitats of Karbi Anglong, the largest district in Assam. The major threats stem from habitat fragmentation and destruction, caused by encroachment on forest lands, slash-and-burn (or jhum) agriculture, and unplanned development. Read more »
